Alfond Scholars will receive up to $49,760 in financial assistance per year. Scholarships are renewable for three additional years provided students maintain a 3.3 GPA.
Up to 10 students receive full, four-year scholarship covering tuition, room and board, books and fees at the university.
Supported by a gift from the Harold Alfond Foundation, each year the Alfond Scholars Programs awards up to ten full scholarships. These awards include tuition, room, and board and go to entering first-year students in the College of Liberal Arts at Rollins College. These students have the desire and commitment to pursue other prestigious recognition like the Rhodes, Goldwater, or Truman scholarships during their undergraduate years. While in the program, recipients live on campus for their 4 years. They also take part in at least one off-campus experience such as Washington Semester or study abroad. Other benefits include research collaboration with Rollins faculty mentors and an invitation to join Rolling Honors Degree Program. Tuition and fees at Rollins College is $49,760 per year. Qualifying applicants typically have SATs higher than 1470 (Evidence Based Reading and Math) or ACTs higher than 32 (Composite) and GPAs higher than 3.6.
