Number of Awards & Eligibility: Each year, the school awards forty full-ride scholarships. Twenty to Georgia residents, and twenty to non-residents. covering tuition,fees, meals and housing,funds for personal expenses and books.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or citizens of the United Kingdom.
  2. Must have a history of participation in extra-curricular activities.
  3. Must attend Georgia Institute of Technology.
  4. Must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application.

Description: A Stamps President's Scholarship (SPS) covers all tuition, meals, housing, funds for personal expenses and books. An extra $12,000 over four years is also provided toward enrichment activities. An eight-day outdoor leadership trip your first year is also provided with a $1,100 stipend for the purchase of a laptop.

Additional Information: Applicants must apply to Georgia Tech before the early application deadline. After students are admitted early action to Georgia Tech, the semifinalists will be chosen All early action applicants for admission will receive notification online of their progress in the selection process in mid-January. If you should become a finalist, you must participate in ALL activities all day Friday and Saturday, March 6-7, 2020.

Award Amount: Scholars will receive full ride scholarships covering tuition, fees, meals and housing, funds for personal expenses, and books at the university. The annual award amount is valued at approximately $28,832 for in-state students and $49,944 for out-of-state tuition. Awards may be renewed for up to four years of undergraduate study, so long as the student maintains satisfactory academic standing.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $195,856.

Only potential, new first-year students who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States or citizens of the United Kingdom are eligible. The application involves an essay and a detailed description of your activities outside class. Students who are selected as semifinalists must take part in an interview. Applicants also list their interests and extra-curricular activities. This part of the application looks at things like community involvement, initiative, leadership and compassion. Applicants must apply to Georgia Tech before the early application deadline.
