Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of scholarships awarded each year varies depending on the availability of funds.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a full-time student.
  3. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at time of application.
  4. Must be of Greek descent, OR be a member, or the son/daughter of a member, of AHEPA, the Daughters of Penelope, the Sons of Pericles or the Maids of Athena.
  5. Preference will be given to students with majors in political science, history or international relations.

Additional Information: Preference will be given to upperclassmen with majors in political science, history or international relations. The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) is one of the largest Greek-American organizations. Its mission is to promote Hellenism, education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, and family and individual excellence. Four auxiliaries form the AHEPA family: AHEPA Family, The Daughters of Penelope, The Sons of Pericles, and Maids of Athena. The scholarship program at the national level is administered by AHEPA's National Educational Foundation. The foundation was established to promote, encourage, induce and advance education at the college, university and graduate school level.

Award Amount: Awards range from $500 to $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
