Number of Awards & Eligibility: 50 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be attending college for the first time in the upcoming fall term.
  4. Must plan to attend the University of Oregon.
  5. Must be a resident of Oregon.
  6. Must graduate from an Oregon high school.
  7. Must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.85 or higher on a 4.0 scale (weighted or unweighted).
  8. Must have an SAT score of 1300 or higher (combined critical reading and math) OR an ACT composite score of 28 or higher.
  9. Must demonstrate a significant history of leadership and volunteer service activities.
  10. Must attend a college or university in Oregon.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors planning to attend the University of Oregon. Students must have a grade point average of 3.85 or higher, an SAT score of 1300 or higher or an ACT score of 28 or higher, and a significant history of leadership and volunteer service activities.

Application requirements for the University of Oregon Presidential Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Presidential Scholarships are renewed annually for up to 12 terms of undergraduate study over five years (excluding summer terms). For renewal, recipients must Be enrolled in and complete a minimum of 12 UO credits per term Maintain a 3.25 UO grade point average Recipients will be notified by April 1.

Award Amount: $9,000 per year for four years. For renewal, recipients must: be enrolled in and complete 12 or more credits at UO per term; and maintain a UO grade point average of 3.25 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $450,000.
