Margaret A. Stafford Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship is open to Delaware residents who are accepted at an accredited college or university’s nursing program to initiate or further nursing training. All recipients will seek to improve the quality of health care in society through nursing practices that ensure that patients are a priority.

Applicants must be enrolled in a college, university, or post-secondary institution in the 2021-22 academic year in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree; pursue a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) major; and belong to a historically underrepresented population/group such as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), members of the LGBTQ2+ community, people with disabilities, veterans, and first-generation college students.

This scholarship is open to Delaware resident high school seniors who are graduating from a Delaware high school and plan to pursue a career in healthcare or education. Students must have a low to moderate income and be active in community service.

PFLAG Placer County Chapter – Bob Wiseman Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available for high school seniors residing in Placer County, California. Applicants must identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or must demonstrate a history as a straight ally dedicated to equality and advancing LGBT rights.

4-H Community Service Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Wisconsin undergraduate students who have been members of 4-H for a year or more, and have demonstrated a commitment to community service. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Bill and Anne Shepherd Legal Scholarship

This scholarship is available for third-year and fourth-year U.S. law students who demonstrate the intent to practice law and promote the rights of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community. Students need not be gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered themselves to apply.

PFLAG Greensboro Chapter Carter Stroupe Memorial Scholarship
