Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards may vary according to the amount of funds allocated to the eligible institution.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
  4. Must be a resident of Arizona.
  5. Must attend a participating public or private postsecondary institution in Arizona. A list of the participating institutions is available on the ACPE website.
  6. Must be a full-time or half-time student.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This grant is available for Arizona resident undergraduate students who are enrolled at an eligible Arizona postsecondary institution. Students must demonstrate substantial financial need, as determined from completing the FAFSA.

Additional Information: The Arizona Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (AzLEAP) establishes a state and institutional partnership to provide student financial assistance in the form of need-based grants to low-income, undergraduate, Arizona resident students who have demonstrated substantial financial need, enabling students to attend postsecondary institutions in the State of Arizona. The grant is awarded by each participating institution. Recipients are selected by the institutions on the basis of substantial financial need established through federal methodology and state administrative rules. For additional information, students should contact his/her institution's financial aid office.

Award Amount: Minimum of $100 and up to $2,500 annually, renewable. Renewability is determined by each participating institution.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
