Number of Awards & Eligibility: Varies based on the amount of funding available and the number of eligible students.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of New Mexico.
  3. Must attend a public college or university or one of the following eligible colleges in New Mexico: St. John's College; University of the Southwest; Institute of American Indian Art; Crownpoint Institute of Technology; Diné College; Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute.
  4. Must be a high school senior or older.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  6. Must demonstrate substantial financial need.
  7. Must enroll in six or more credit hours (half time or more) per semester.

Additional Information: The Student Incentive Grant was created to provide aid for undergraduate students with substantial financial need who are attending public and selected private non-profit postsecondary institutions in New Mexico.

Award Amount: Varies from $200 to $2,500 annually. Part-time students are eligible for pro-rated awards.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,350.
