Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  3. Must be matriculated in a degree-granting program.
  4. Must be ranked in the top 20 percent of his/her class if an incoming freshman.
  5. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher (if not an incoming freshman).
  6. Must enroll full time.
  7. Must attend one of the CCSNH colleges.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to full-time students at any of the New Hampshire community colleges. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher or be ranked in the top 20 percent of their class if an incoming freshman.

Additional Information: Ron Borelli served on the Board of Trustees of New Hampshire Community Technical Colleges and was Chairman of the Community Colleges of NH Foundation. In 1998, New Hampshire Magazine named him "Business Man Of The Year". He served as Chairman of the Board of Vette Corporation in Manchester and InterSense of Burlington, Massachusetts and as CEO of Bentley Kinetics of Bedford. He was active in many community affairs. Ron passed away suddenly in June of 2006. He is greatly missed by his family and colleagues who have come together to name this scholarship in his memory. All applicants must have demonstrated financial need, and must have a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on file with their campus financial aid office. Award notification will be in September.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available on the Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) website. In addition to a completed application, each student must submit the following supporting documents: a copy of his/her transcript; and a cover letter explaining why he/she believes he/she should be awarded the scholarship. Applications may be mailed, emailed, or faxed using the contact information provided. Applications must be delivered by the deadline date.
