Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards provided will vary annually depending on the number of enrolled students and their demonstrated financial need. Last year, approximately 1,500 undergraduate students at Smith College received need-based scholarships and financial aid.

To be considered for financial aid at Smith College, students must first apply for and be granted admission to attend as an undergraduate student. Applications are highly competitive and expect students to have performed at a top level through a rigorous high school curriculum. Applications for admissions may be submitted through either the Common Application or the Coalition Application and must include all supplemental sections for Smith College. Students may apply for Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or the final Regular Decision deadline. Early Decision I applications must be received by November 15. Early Decision II applications must be received by January 1. The Regular Admission deadline and final deadline for admissions consideration is January 15. Any applications received after that date will not be considered.
