Additional Information: The Lentin Scholarship Fund is provided through The Jewish Federation of St. Louis. The award was founded by Scott Lentin to provide financial assistance to St. Louis area Jewish students for whom higher education would impose a significant economic burden. Award selection will be based on a combination of unmet financial need, academic performance, community involvement, and work history. Scholarship Central is made possible by a joint commitment between St. Louis Graduates and the St. Louis Community Foundation, as well as a variety of private and public sponsors. Award Amount: Up to $10,000 annually, renewable for up to four full years of college, provided the student remains eligible through satisfactory academic progress.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.

To be considered for this award, students must register an online account with the Scholarship Central scholarship application system. In addition to the online application form, applicants for the The Lentin Scholarship Fund must submit: responses to the supplemental questions; high school and/or college transcripts; proof of financial need; one letter of recommendation; a history of employment and/or community service activities; and an optional personal statement that describes any unusual circumstances the applicant may be facing. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted through the online system no later than the deadline date.
