Number of Awards & Eligibility: Ten scholarships for up to $10,000 each will be awarded to each winner.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. For Undergraduate Scholar Awards, must be pursuing an undergraduate or vocational/technical degree.
  2. For Graduate Scholar Awards, must be pursuing a graduate degree.
  3. For Working Parent’s Scholar Awards, must be a parent pursuing a undergraduate, vocational/technical, or graduate degree.
  4. For Single Parent’s Scholar Awards, must be a parent pursuing an undergraduate, vocational/technical, or graduate degree.
  5. Must be a US Citizen.
  6. Must have been diagnosed with a GI condition and were under the care of a licensed healthcare professional in the US.
  7. Must provide a confirmation from a licensed US healthcare professional of the diagnosis of a GI condition.

Additional Information: Salix is proudly offering their annual scholarship program – totaling $100,000 – which recognizes outstanding students living with Gastrointestinal (GI) disease, as they pursue higher education. Residents of the United States who have been diagnosed with a GI condition and who are pursuing higher education are eligible to apply. Additional applicant information can be found on provider site.
