In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident.
  2. Must be enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college or university and planning on continuing the next year.
  3. Must have at least 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed.
  4. Must consent to provide a digital photograph of self and quote for display on Study.com if notified as the award winner by the selection committee.

Description: Study.com is a learning platform that offers study help, test prep, information about colleges, careers and college credit. Each year they offer one $500 scholarship to a student who is pursuing an online associate or bachelors degree in one of their approved education majors.

Application requirements for the Study.com Undergraduate Distance Learning Degrees Academic Scholarships are:

Additional Information: Applicants must be pursuing an online associate or bachelor degree in an approved area of study. Selection will be based on academic history and extracurricular activities. Financial need will not be considered. Other criteria specify you must: • Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident • Be enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college or university and planning on continuing the next year. • Graduating high school seniors who meet the above mentioned criteria may apply. • Have at least 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed. • Consent to provide a digital photograph of self and quote for display on Study.com if notified as the award winner by the selection committee.

Award Amount: One scholarship of $500.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
