The CrossLites Scholarship Award was created to provide high school, undergraduate, and graduate students with a chance to learn about Dr. Charles Parker, become inspired, and win some money. Once a student submits an essay online, a panel of judges will evaluate its content based on originality, reflection, grammar/punctuality, and content. The judges will then post the essay online for other viewers to vote. Voters with an unique email address are allowed to vote on an essay once per day. The essays with the highest number of votes in each category at the end of the deadline date will be declared the winner. If a student is declared a winner at the end of the contest, he/she is required to produce a physical address and a short biography via email. Please note: Submitted essays automatically become property of CrossLites. The contest winners' essays and their short biographies will be displayed on the site after the contest ends.
