Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to six scholarships of $2,500 each are awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be enrolled or entering an accredited four-year college or university as an undergrad or grad student.
  2. Must have a grade point average(GPA) of 2.5 or higher.
  3. Must be members of the Danish Sisterhood and their children, regardless of age.

Description: The Danish Sisterhood of America offers a Scholarship and Grant Program. They have four different scholarships, one of which is the Betty Hansen Scholarship. These scholarships further the mission of the Danish Sisterhood of America which is to strengthen, maintain and preserve the Danish traditions for future generations.
