Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship is awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be an undergraduate member of the Society of Physics Students (SPS)
  2. Must be in their sophomore or junior year of college.
  3. Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident who attends a college or university in the United States.
  4. Must be majoring in physics or a related science.

Description: The Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) Academic Scholarship is available for undergraduate members of the SPS national organization as well as students in their sophomore or junior year of college who are majoring in physics or a related science. Applications are due March 15. Apply today!

Based in Lanham, Maryland, SSAI specializes in Earth and space sciences, advanced computing, scientific analysis, instrument engineering, systems development, and information technology. This $2,000 scholarship is awarded on the basis of academics and participation in SPS to undergraduate students in their sophomore or junior year of study

Award Amount: The winner of the Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) Academic Scholarship will receive $2,000. non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
