Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student in the 2020-2021 academic year.
  4. Must enroll full time.
  5. Must identify as a woman.
  6. Must seek a degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) field.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate students who identify as women and are seeking a degree in a STEM field. Students must submit a three-minute video explaining a scientific topic about which they are passionate.

Additional Information: The Cards Against Humanity Science Ambassador Scholarship is provided annually to young women who show interest in and strong potential for a successful career in science and technology. Award selection is primarily based on the content (not production) quality of submitted video lessons. A panel of women with advanced degrees in scientific and technical fields will review the video entries for submissions that are passionate, clear, concise, and scientifically accurate. Finalists will be notified and asked to submit supplemental materials in early 2019.

Award Amount: The scholarship will provide full tuition coverage for up to four years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $60,000.

Applications are available online on the Science Ambassador Scholarship website. To apply, the student must record a video of herself explaining a scientific topic about which she is passionate. The video should be no longer than three minutes, and must be uploaded to YouTube and set to public. The student must provide a link to the YouTube video on the online application. Applications must be submitted by the deadline date.
