  2. Must be female.
  3. Must be a college junior or senior at the time of application.
  4. Must be a graduate of a high school located within fifty miles of Austin, Texas.
  5. Must be enrolled at the University of Texas.

Description: The Austin Woman’s Club Howson/Mohrmann Scholarship is provided annually for female students at the University of Texas. Applicants must be entering their junior or senior year of studies, and must have graduated from a high school in or near Austin, Texas. Although not required, additional consideration will be given to applicants who are majoring in architecture or historical preservation.

Additional Information: The Austin Woman’s Club Howson/Mohrmann Scholarship is provided annually to women in their junior and senior years of study at the University of Texas. Applicants must have graduated from a high school in or near Austin, Texas, and additional preference will be given to applicants who are majoring in architecture or historical preservation. This scholarship is administered and managed through the Austin Community Foundation. Founded in 1977, the Austin Community Foundation has expanded to combine philanthropists, community leaders, and advanced financial management technologies. The foundation works to identify and assist the local populations in greatest need through a combination of scholarships, local initiatives, and grants.
