Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a female.
  4. Must be an Idaho resident.
  5. Must be enrolled full time.
  6. Must have junior or senior level standing in a bachelor's degree program and must be graduating within two years of receipt of the scholarship.
  7. Must attend Boise State University.
  8. Must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to female Idaho students who are enrolled as college juniors or seniors at Boise State University. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Award Amount: The award amount varies annually. Awards are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,600.

Applications are available on the Idaho Community Foundation website. Please note: The student may apply for all scholarships for which she is qualified; however, a separate application and supplemental materials must be submitted for each scholarship. In addition to a completed application, the student must submit the following materials: five one-page essays addressing the topics listed on the application; a copy of her most recent high school transcript, report card, or unofficial/uncertified college transcript; an additional essay describing how her future plans exemplify the AAUW Mission Statement; and two letters of reference describing her character, personality traits, and academic achievements. The student may not use staples or binders for any part of the application. Applications must be typed. Applications must be emailed to the address provided by the deadline date.
