Semi-finalists will be interviewed in San Francisco at the end of May. Students must participate in the interview to be considered for a scholarship. All scholarship recipients are expected to participate in the Chicana/Latina Foundation Leadership Institute. Session 1 of the Institute will be held in August and session 2 will be held in February. Also, applicants must agree, if awarded a scholarship, to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours by March of the following year in support of the Chicana/Latina Foundation. Please note: Students who received a Chicana/Latina Foundation scholarship within the past four years are not eligible to apply for a scholarship. Students who were selected as semi-finalists but not awarded a scholarship may reapply.
