Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must attend Wenatchee, WestSide, Eastmont, Cashmere, Cascade, or Quincy High School in north central Washington State.
  2. Must be female.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
  4. Must be a graduating high school senior.

Description: The Women's Service League of Wenatchee Scholarship is available for graduating high school senior women at Wenatchee, WestSide, Eastmont, Cashmere, Cascade, and Quincy High Schools in north central Washington State.

Additional Information: The Community Foundation of North Central Washington administers more than one hundred scholarships for students residing throughout Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan counties. The selection of scholarship recipients is based primarily on a combination of academic achievements, strength of recommendations, and unmet fianncial need as calculated by the applicant's expected financial contribution. Additional consideration during the Women's Service League of Wenatchee Scholarship selection will include focus on students who have helped to further the mission of the Women's Service League through promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through effective action and leadership. Recipients will be notified in early May and will be required to provide additional documentation such as a signed scholarship agreement and verification of enrollment.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable. All funds will be deposited directly with the school of the recipient's choice.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
