Recognizing the tremendous financial need of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students, as well as straight ally students in the region, Pride Foundation began its scholarship program to help develop tomorrow's leaders that work for social justice. Since 1993 the foundation has helped more than 550 students achieve their educational goals. The applicant will be notified by early April confirming whether she has been selected for the interview stage of the scholarship process (students who have not been selected will also be notified). Final selection of scholarship recipients will be made in early May.
