Number of Awards & Eligibility: The Winston Churchill Foundation now awards no less than 15 Scholarships per year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Mst be a citizen of the United States, either native born or naturalized.
  2. Must be a senior graduated.

Description: The Churchill Scholarship is available for college seniors enrolled in one of the institutions participating in the Scholarship Program. Student whom graduated from one of those institutions within the past 12 months are also eligible. Click here to learn more and apply today!

Application requirements for the Churchill Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Personal statement
  • Official Transcript.
Additional Information: In the 1950’s as the Churchill College in Cambridge was establishing, Sir Winston Churchill met with some American friends. He asked them to set up a way for young American students to study there. There have been about 500 scholars since. The Winston Churchill Foundation now awards no less than 15 Scholarships per year. Many overseas fellows are recipients of the Nobel Prize.

Award Amount: The Churchill Scholarship is worth around $60,000, depending on the exchange rate. It covers all University and College fees (currently about $40,000). Scholars also receive a living allowance and travel allowance.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $900,000.
