  1. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Description: The 2019 Accident Victims Scholarship is available for undergraduate and graduate students in the U.S. who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. To apply, applicants must submit an original essay on victims' rights and how the legal system can help to protect them.

Additional Information: The Laborde Earles Law Firm is committed to protecting the rights of accident victims, and as such, are pleased to announce the 2019 Accident Victims Scholarship. Award selection will be based on a variety of factors including academic success, professional experience, and the quality of essay submissions. One winner will be selected and notified, and scholarship funds will be made available upon proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university in the United States.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and additional information about the 2019 Accident Victims Scholarship award can be found online at the Laborde Earles Law Firm website. To apply for this scholarship, students must write and submit an original essay of approximately 750 words in response to how our legal system treats victims of accidents and how the laws protecting victims can be improved or better enforced. Essays must be typed in 12 point Times New Roman font. Students must also submit a copy of transcripts for all academic coursework completed, as well as a recently updated resume that details any professional achievements, work experience, and other honors & awards. All scholarship application materials must be sent as email attachments to the listed email address. The subject line of the email must use the following format: "Name of Applicant – 2019 Accident Victims Scholarship". All emails must be received by the deadline date.
