Shell Incentive Program

Shell Company (“Shell”) offers $5,000 annual scholarships through the Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship program to underrepresented students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a specific technical field of study at certain universities. The scholarship can be used to pay for tuition and/or school expenses. If the necessary criteria are met, at Shell’s discretion, a student’s scholarship may be renewed up to four years or until Bachelor degree requirements are complete, whichever occurs first. Scholarship recipients are notified of their status during the summer following their application. Renewal of the scholarship is contingent upon the student remaining qualified.

Shell Highschool Senior Scholarship Program

The Shell Technical Scholarship and Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship have been created to provide financial and career assistance to graduating high school seniors who have expressed an interest in the energy industry and demonstrated an aptitude in mathematics and science. In each program, Shell will sponsor up to 20 one-year awards of $2,500 for selected graduating high school seniors enrolling in engineering or geosciences at universities identified by Shell. These scholarship programs support Shell’s objective of helping to ensure a qualified workforce in engineering and geosciences disciplines in future years. Workforce development is one of the highest priorities at Shell. Competition for talent is growing and Shell will be at the forefront in identifying young people with the skills to succeed by assisting with scholarships and providing exposure to career opportunities at the company.

Shelving.com Business Scholarship

With that in mind, the 2023 Shelving.com Business Scholarship is now open – available to Michigan residents pursuing a major in business and/or currently enrolled in a business-related field of study. This scholarship will offer one grand prize of $3,000, one runner-up prize of $2,000, and one second runner-up prize of $1,000. The 2023 Shelving.com Business Scholarship will be accepting applications from Michigan residents who are either currently attending an accredited college or university, or are high school seniors currently enrolled or planning to enroll in college or university. Michigan residents are eligible if attending an accredited college or university outside of the state. Any student interested in applying is required to submit a copy of their current transcript and resume, as well as an essay that answers the prompt below. If not presently attending a college or university, proof of college or university enrollment is required. Applicants will be judged on their academic merits as well as the content of the application essay they provide.

TMCF McDonald’s Black and Positively Golden Scholarship

The TMCF McDonald’s Black and Positively Golden Scholarship is an incredible opportunity for exceptional students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). With up to 63 (sixty-three) $15,000 scholarships available for the upcoming academic year, this scholarship can help cover verifiable costs associated with tuition and fees for motivated students. Bachus & Schanker Scholarship

The attorneys of Bachus & Schanker, LLC have dedicated their practice to helping the injured and their families receive justice through the civil justice system. Bachus & Schanker, LLC and their staff of more than 70 advocate for the rights of individuals and families who suffer injury or death caused by the negligent or reckless conduct of others. They also help those injured on the job or by dangerous products. The practice also includes Social Security Disability and Plaintiff Employment Law practice groups. Understanding the importance of a quality education, Bachus & Schanker, LLC created a scholarship meant to enable students to better focus on their intellectual development and career goals. Students have the opportunity to apply for one of the $2000 semiannual scholarships to be paid toward tuition for the upcoming semester. Each student must write an essay about his or her opinion(s) on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment. Students are encouraged to think critically about the right to trial by a jury, and other elements of the Amendment, and it how affects their lives.
