  2. Must be majoring in visual art.
  3. This award is for U.S. and international students in the U.S.

Description: The Dolphin Galleries Scholarship for the Visual Arts is available for students who will be enrolled in an accredited art program during the upcoming fall semester.

Additional Information: Dolphin Galleries believes in spreading art and art appreciation throughout the world. Since its founding in 1976, Dolphin galleries has spread to over 16 locations and now includes online promotion for represented artists. Through the Dolphin Galleries Scholarship for the Visual Arts, one student will be selected each year for reognition and financial assistance based on the quality of their submitted portfolio sample.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and instructions for the Dolphin Galleries Scholarship for the Visual Arts are available online using the provided links. To apply for this scholarship, students must put together a selection of their best 5 works with a 100-word description of each. Submitted pieces should relate to the expression of your culture in the modern age. Applications must be submitted via email to the provided address. The body of the email must also contain the following information: student's name, address, and phone number; contact information for the applicant's parents (if the applicant is not yet 18 years of age); the name of the school the applicant is planning to attend; and the applicant's current or intended course of study.
