Number of Awards & Eligibility: Sixteen scholarships are awarded and annually renewable.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must reside in and attend school in Arizona.
  2. Must participate in school sports such as badminton, baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, cheer, cross country, dive, football, golf, robotics, soccer, softball, spiritline, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball and wrestling.
  3. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  4. Must be a high school student at the time of application.

Description: The BBB Ethical Athlete Scholarship is avaliable for Arizona High School students enrolled at AIA sanctioned schools and participating in AIA sanctioned school sports, such as: badminton, baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, cheer, cross country, dive, football, golf, robotics, soccer, softball, spiritline, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball and wrestling.

Additional Information: The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is now honoring students' ethical behavior and positive influence on others through their Ethical Athlete Scholarship. Arizona high school students enrolled at Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) sanctioned schools whom are participants of AIA sanctioned school sports such as badminton, baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, cheer, cross country, dive, football, golf, robotics, soccer, softball, spiritline, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball and wrestling are now eligible.

Award Amount: The winner of the BBB Ethical Athlete Scholarship will receive $1,000  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
