Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually. One will be provided during each deadline date.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  3. Must be enrolled full time.
  4. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the U.S.

Additional Information: The Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship is provided in memory of Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom, who tragically lost her battle with uterine cancer in 2014. The award was established by her husband, Greg Engstrom, to honor her optimism, loving character, and kindness. Submissions will be reviewed by PCB Solutions and a winner will be selected & notified within two weeks of the current award's deadline date.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable. All awards are provided on a one-time basis and previous recipients are not eligible to reapply.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application instructions and additional information about the Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship is available at the PCB Solutions website. To apply for this award, students must submit the following documents: an essay; a short autobiographical sketch; and the Content Contribution Agreement available on the provider website. Essays must be 800 words or more in length and must describe the applicant's vision of electronic design, engineering and manufacturing in the global economy. Additional topic prompts and suggested themes are listed on the scholarship information page. All essays and biographical summaries must be saved in Microsoft Word (.doc) or Adobe PDF (.pdf) format. The essay, the autobiographical sketch, and the content contribution agreement must be submitted as email attachments to the listed email address. Completed applications and all supporting documents must be received by the deadline date. Any late applications, or applications that are missing required documents, will not be considered.
