Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be awarded each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a current or incoming college student.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Description: The Mark Sherman Law Juvenile Justice Scholarship is available for current and incoming college students who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the Mark Sherman Law Juvenile Justice Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Transcript
  • Resume
Additional Information: Provided annually by Mark Sherman Law, the Juvenile Justice Scholarship is awarded to current and incoming college students who submit excellent ideas for reducing juvenile crime - especially repeat crimes from previously arrested individuals. Students are encouraged to think of a rehabilitative program that provides opportunities for young people who wish to leave behind a life of crime. Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have overcome their own adversity in life, as well as those who can relate to youth who have had trouble with the law.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application instructions and additional information about the Mark Sherman Law Juvenile Justice Scholarship is available online using the provided links.
