Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year the program is offered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student.

Description: The McCraw Law Group First Responders Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the McCraw Law Group First Responders Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Resume
Additional Information: The McCraw Law Group First Responders Scholarship is provided each year to students who provide a unique perspective and outlook on the role of first responders in our society. Applicants must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university in the upcoming academic year, and must demonstrate high levels of academic merit and scholastic achievement. Award selection will be based primarily on essay responses, with emphasis given to writing submissions that recognize the sacrifices often involved with being the first one to help at an accident, crime, or other disaster.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and additional information about the McCraw Law Group First Responders Scholarship are available online using the provided links. To be considered for this award, students must submit the following: a transcript of all academic coursework completed; a recent resume; and an essay of between 500 and 1,000 words in length that discusses the role of first responders in today's society.
