Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be awarded annually.

Description: The MetaCompliance Scholarship is available for students who are 18 years of age or older and currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.

Additional Information: The MetaCompliance Scholarship is provided annually to promote awareness of Cyber Security issues that face young adults. Scholarships are awarded to applicants whose essay submissions demonstrate a high knowledge of technological risks, as well as essays showing strong use of language and original ideas. Students are also encouraged to provide thorough citations for claims and facts cited within the essay. One winner will be selected and announced in late October.

Award Amount: Scholarships are provided in the amounts of £1000, €1000, or $1000, depending on the location of the winner's university.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and instructions for the MetaCompliance Scholarship are available using the provided links. To be considered for this award, students must write an original essay of between 500 and 1,000 words in length. Essays must address the applicant's view of the top three cyber security threats faced by Generation Z. All applications must be submitted by email and must include the following contact information: name, address, phone number, college or university name, and the applicant's field of study. Essays must be saved in Word DOC format (.doc or .docx) and sent in the email as an attachment. All submissions must be received no later than the deadline date.
