Number of Awards & Eligibility: One student will be selected to receive this scholarship.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law program at a college or university in the United States.
  3. Must be in a good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Description: The Cancer Survivor Scholarship is vailable for applicants enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law program at a college or university in the United States. Applicants can be a GED holder planning to attend college during the upcoming semester. The applicant should also be in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Application requirements for the The Cancer Survivor Scholarship are:

  • Official Transcript
  • a current resume.
Additional Information: The Cancer Survivor Scholarship is intended to help fight this disease by contributing to the education of those individuals who have been impacted by it and are using that experience as their motivation to pursue a career that aims to eradicate cancer. Whether you have been diagnosed with cancer yourself or you were directly impacted by the cancer diagnosis and battle of a family member or close friend, this inspiring story of perseverance can help generate awareness and encourage others to get involved in the fight against cancer. Award Amount: The winner of the The Cancer Survivor Scholarship will receive $1,000. Non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
