Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be majoring in business, entrepreneurship or computer science.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. Must be enrolled full time.
  5. Must be an undergraduate student during the current academic year.

Description: The Jungle Scout Scholars Program is available for U.S. undergraduate students who submit a short pitch for a ecommerce solution of SaaS product. Students must be majoring in business, entrepreneurship or computer science.

Application requirements for the Jungle Scout Scholar Program are:

  • Application form
  • Video
Additional Information: Applicants will be selected anonymously by an internal committee and awards will be provided based on a combination of merit, strength of application, and the given reason for applying for funding. Winners will be contacted by email.

Award Amount: $2,000 or more annually, non-renewable. All funding is provided for one semester of study and previous applicants may reapply in future semesters.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications and information about this award can be found online at the Jungle Scout website. To be considered for an award, applicants must write a short essay that pitches an ecommerce or Software as a Service (SAAS) concept. Students are encouraged, although not required, to submit an additional short video that introduces themselves and their interests. In addition to the essay and optional video submission(s), students must provide contact information, academic information, and a brief overview of why they require funding. All applications and supporting documents must be received online no later than the deadline date.
