Number of Awards & Eligibility: Three awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a woman.
  2. Must be diagnosed with a dermatological condition that requires prescription treatment.
  3. Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application.
  4. Must be a parent.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  6. This award is for U.S. students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. mothers who have been diagnosed with and treated for a dermatological condition. Applicants must submit an original essay and complete an online application form to be considered.

Additional Information: Submissions will be evaluated primarily on the strength of essay entries. The judges will also consider the student's community and academic participation, as well as any extenuating circumstances presented within the application. Recipients will be notified in June.

Award Amount: Up to $10,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.

To be considered for this award, students must complete an online application form and submit an original essay in response to the topic prompt provided. All essays must refrain from mentioning specific brand names of products and prescriptions, and will become property of Valeant upon submission.
