Charles E. Leonard Memorial Scholarship

This award is available to Vermont undergraduate and graduate students who are: blind or visually impaired (after best corrected vision); children of a blind or visually impaired person; or pursuing a career in the education or rehabilitation of blind or visually impaired people. Students must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.

This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who reside in Franklin County, Vermont, and graduated from a Franklin County high school. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and must demonstrate financial need.

This scholarship is available for Vermont students who face significant barriers or obstacles that limit their access to education after high school. Students must demonstrate financial need and be adult students as defined by VSAC.

Students must demonstrate participation in extracurricular activities/community involvement or service, financial need, and education/work ethic.
