Description: This award is available for U.S. graduate students who plan to pursue a career in the drinking water industry. Founded in 1886, American Water is the largest investor-owned U.S. water and wastewater utility company. This $5,000 scholarship provides funding to a graduate level student.

Application requirements for the American Water Scholarship are:

Additional Information: American Water is pleased to support the development of professionals interested in service to the water industry. Founded in 1886, American Water is the largest investor-owned U.S. water and wastewater utility company. With headquarters in Voorhees, N.J., the company employs more than 7,000 dedicated professionals who provide drinking water, wastewater and other related services to approximately 15 million people in 32 states and Ontario, Canada.
