Ohio CPA Foundation
$2,000 annually, non-renewable. Recipients may apply for consideration in subsequent years if they continue to meet eligibility requirements. Scholarship awards are sent directly to the recipient's academic institution. Scholarships are paid in July for the recipient's fall semester tuition and fees.
The number of awards offered varies annually. In prior years, two scholarships have been awarded.
*Please note: To be eligible, all applicants must be student affiliate members of The Ohio Society of CPAs. Student affiliate membership is free and can be obtained by completing the membership application available online at the provider website. The Clarke Price Accounting Scholarship is provided annually in honor of J. Clarke Price, retired president and CEO of The Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA). He served OSCPA and the CPA profession for more than 40 years. To honor his legacy, the Clarke Price Accounting Scholarship Endowment was created to assist students who have the potential to be successful CPAs realize their dreams. The recipients of the Clarke Price Accounting Scholarship will exemplify the qualities and characteristics that reflect his legacy: leadership, innovation, and commitment. All applicants will be notified of the College Scholarship Program results by mail by March 1.
