Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate and/or graduate award.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  5. Must attend Amarillo College OR West Texas A&M University.
  6. Must be a resident of one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle.
  7. Must have a documented disability (physical, mental, and/or learning).

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. graduating high school seniors or older students who have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and a disability are eligible for this award. Students must reside in 26 northernmost Texas counties and attend Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University.

Application requirements for the Elesa Crump Memorial Endowed Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • IRS 1040 Form
  • ACT/SAT scores
Additional Information: This scholarship fund was established by Peggy and Kenneth Crump in 2011 in memory of their daughter.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, renewable for up to two years at Amarillo College or four years at West Texas A&M.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
