Ohio CPA Foundation
$2,000 annually, non-renewable. Recipients may apply for consideration in subsequent years if they continue to meet eligibility requirements. Scholarship awards are sent directly to the recipient's academic institution. Scholarships are paid in July for the recipient's fall semester tuition and fees.
The number of awards varies annually. Last year, there were 28 scholarships awarded.
To be eligible, applying students must be student affiliate members of The Ohio Society of CPAs. Student affiliate membership is free and can be obtained by completing the membership application available online at the OSCPA website. Statewide scholarships are available in three categories: two-year awards, for students enrolled in community colleges or two-year institutions; four-year awards, for students enrolled in four-year institutions; diversity awards, for students from underrepresented ethnic, racial, or cultural groups. All applicants will be notified of the College Scholarship Program results by mail by March 1.
