Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. Must have graduated from a high school in Idaho OR attend or plan to attend a college or university within the state of Idaho.
  4. Must be a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, intersex, or questioning (LGBTIQ) individual.
  5. Must be a high school senior, or enrolled in or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, intersex, and questioning (LGBTIQ) students who either graduated from a high school in Idaho or will be attending a college or university within the state of Idaho.

Application requirements for the Rosenberg-Ibarra Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Interview
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Artwork samples (opt.)
Additional Information: Pride Foundation is able to offer a diversity of scholarships, which encourage students of different backgrounds and educational interests to apply. Most scholarships are available for straight ally or questioning students as well as student of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) parents. All promote leadership and diversity in the LGBT community.

Award Amount: The monetary award amount varies and is determined by the Pride Foundation. Generally, scholarships offered through the foundation are a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $12,000. The award is offered annually and is non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $12,000.
