Additional Information: This scholarship is provided in honor of the Ventura County Community Foundation's (VCCF) 25th anniversary. To apply, students must submit an essay about how they plan to give back to the community. Award selection will be based on a combination of essay responses, academic achievements, and demonstrated financial need. Although financial need is not required for eligibility, it will be considered during evaluation of submitted applications.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications for the Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF) 25th Anniversary Scholarship Fund are available online at the Ventura County Community Foundation website. To apply for an award, students must complete all sections of the online application form. Applicants must also submit an original essay in response to the award's topic, as well as two letters of recommendation. At least one letter of recommendation must be submitted by a current faculty member at the school the student is attending. All applications and supporting documents must be received by the deadline date.
