The Spiggle Law Firm
$1,000 annually, non-renewable.
One scholarship will be provided annually.
Sponsored annually by the Spiggle Law Firm, the Young Women's Empowerment Scholarship is awarded to current college and university students who share an experience they had in working to fight against the barriers that seek to hold women back. Applicants must demonstrate high levels of academic achievement, work ethic, and community involvement, but the primary factor in award selection will be the essay submission. Judges will consider both the quality of the writing as well as the impact of the student's experiences in helping to work toward overcoming sexism and the unfair treatment women often receive in society.
