Description: The American Association of Post-Acute Nursing (AAPACN) represents more than 17,000 long-term and post-acute care nurses and professionals. The Cheryl M. Thomas Scholarship of $5,000 is for a student with an interest in long term care who is going for a BSN or higher degree.

Additional Information: The American Association of Post-Acute Nursing (AAPACN) represents more than 17,000 long-term and post-acute care nurses and professionals working in more than 5,750 facilities through its subsidiary associations, the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC) and the American Association of Directors of Nursing Services (AADNS). By funding nursing scholarships and research grants, the Foundation helps to committed healthcare professionals reach some of their goals.

Award Amount: One scholarship for up to $5,000 is offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
