Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two scholarships will be provided each year: one during the spring semestrer deadline, and one during the fall semester deadline.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student.
  2. Must be majoring in a field related to education or healthcare.
  3. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Description: The Save a Life Scholarship is available for high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students who are majoring in education or a medical field.

Additional Information: The Save a Life Scholarship is awarded biannually to students who are majoring in or planning to major in a field related to teaching or medicine. For the purposes of eligibility, the provider defines healthcare majors broadly so as to include nurses, medical support staff, physician's assistants, mental health and social workers, as well as administrative majors with a focus on education or medical services. The winner will be selected based on the quality of essay submissions, with emphasis given to originality, passion for the chosen line of work, and ambition. Winners will be required to provide additional proof of eligibility such as a government issued identification card or driver's license.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
