Student recipients will receive their monetary awards when notified of selection and will receive certificates presented by the APTA board of directors at the association's annual conference. If the student is unable to attend conference, a representative of the student's education program may accept the certificate on the student's behalf. An official announcement of the award will also appear in an association publication.

Award Amount: Awards of $3,000 will be granted to each selected physical therapist assistant education student, and $5,000 awards will be given to selected physical therapist professional education student recipients.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $48,000.
