In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
  3. Must be an undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate members who is currently enrolled in classes at a degree-granting program.

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are members of Golden Key International Honour Society. Students must be preparing for an upcoming study abroad program.

Additional Information: Applicants must be currently involved in or preparing for a study abroad program.

Award Amount: $5,000, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.

Applications are available online on the Golden Key International Honour Society website by clicking on the 'Scholarships and Awards' link on the left side of the page, then clicking on 'Scholarship and Award Listing'. To apply for this scholarship, the student must first register his/her intent to apply by filling out the online form. The student will need his/her Golden Key membership number to register. The student will be prompted to apply for an Applicant Identification Number (AIN). After receiving his/her AIN (an immediate process), the student must enter the access key 'GKStudyDec' to complete the application. After completion of the online form, the student must print the cover page. This page will be page one of his/her entire application submission. For this scholarship, the student must also submit the following: A description of the planned program no more than five pages long; a one-page personal statement discussing the relevance of this program to your degree or future career; and a current and comprehensive official academic transcript.
