  1. Must be a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student at the time of application.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

Description: The Money Metals Exchange Scholarship Program is available for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who submit an essay of approximately 1,000 words on one of the monetary or currency-related topics listed at the provider's website.

Application requirements for the Money Metals Exchange Scholarship Program are:

  • Application form
  • Essay
  • Proof of enrollment
  • Resume
Additional Information: Essays will be reviewed by a panel of economists, professors, and executive members of Money Metals Exchange.

Award Amount: $2,000 for first place in the undergraduate and graduate category and $1,000 for second place. A people's choice winner will also be selected to receive a $500 award.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,300.

Applications and information about this scholarship are available online from the Money Metals Exchange website. To apply for an award, students must complete an online application form and attach an essay, a current resume, and proof of enrollment. Essays must be approximately 1,000 words in length and must address just one of the topics listed at the provider website. All applications and supporting documents must be received online no later than the deadline date.
