Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student.
  4. Must be both interested and engaged in serving his/her community.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students who are interested in and engaged in serving their communities. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: Award selection will be based on a combination of essay quality as well as the student's academic merit as demonstrated by his or her transcripts. The winner will be notified shortly after the deadline date.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

Application information is available on the scholarship program website. To apply, the student must submit the following materials: a resume that reflects his/her interest in service and activism by presenting relevant professional, academic, and volunteer experience; a 500-word essay that responds to the question posted on the website; and his/her most recent available academic transcript. If no official transcript is available from the applicant's current institution, an up-to-date unofficial transcript shall be submitted in addition to the most recent official transcript available. Application materials must be emailed to the provided address no later than deadline date.
