In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  2. Must be enrolled in a graduate program at the time of application.
  3. Must be a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must be a registered nurse or nurse practitioner at the time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for registered nurses and nurse practitioners who are returning to school to pursue a graduate degree in nursing. Applicants must be members of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Additional Information: Membership in AANP is required to apply for this award. Student membership is available with an annual fee of $55.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $25,000.

To be considered for this award, students must first register for an account with the MyAANP portal. Upon registration, he or she will be able to submit the information required for application including proof of enrollment, educational records, and proof of license as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner.
