In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a US citizen living in the US
  2. Must be between the ages 12 to 17 and attending school
  3. Must have an interest in science or social science

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: We are looking for people who are passionate about science and/or social science and who are going to be active in the community and work towards bettering their academic success. We do not select students based on academic or sports excellence but rather we focus on students who may not have the same resources by giving them these resources. Whether that is through the help of peer mentors, student advisors, stipends, etc., we are working towards giving you more experiences that you may not have received. That is what differentiates us from other scholarship programs and their selection criteria.

Application requirements for the LifeSmart Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Interview
  • Application form
Additional Information: This scholarship includes: 1. A monthly stipend of $200 or more for one year. 2. Access to an academic community of like-minded students where you can learn, interact with others, and make friends. 3. Peer mentorship and advice for your academic studies, such as books to read or interest groups to join. 4. Recommendations for seminars, classes, internships, and college applications.

Award Amount: Chosen applicants will receive $2,400.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $36,000.
