It’s your final year of high school, and you’re ready to take on a new adventure — college. As a high school senior, you still have hundreds of scholarship opportunities available to you. Most Valuable Student Scholarship Competition

U.S. high school seniors who plan to enroll as full-time college freshmen are eligible for this award. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need; applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks to apply.

Dr. Robert Hawkins Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available to U.S. and international students who are pursuing a degree in instrumental (band) music education. Applications are accepted from Sept. 1 to Dec. 5 annually.

Act Six Chicago Pursue Scholars Program

This full-tuition scholarship to Taylor University (IN) is open to Chicago residents who graduated from high school in 2018 or 2019 or will graduate in 2020 and are not yet enrolled in a four-year college. Students should display strong academic potential and must be Christians or open to learning about the Christian faith.

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

The Prudential Spirit of Community Award is for U.S. students in the fifth through twelfth grades who have engaged in a volunteer activity that occurred, at least partly, during the 12 months prior to the date of application.

GCSU President's Scholarship Competition

This scholarship competition is open to U.S. and international students who plan to attend Georgia College & State University as freshmen. Students must have an SAT score of 1310 or higher or an ACT score of 28 or higher, and attend the day-long competition on Dec. 8, 2017.

Cedar Crest College Latina Leadership Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Hispanic women who are attending Cedar Crest College. Applicants must demonstrate a history of leadership and academic excellence.

Career Eagles Aviation Scholarship

AOPA Student Pilot Scholarship

The AOPA Student Pilot Scholarship is open to U.S. students who are pursuing a private, recreational, or sport pilot certificate and already have a student pilot certificate. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program

The Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Scholarship is available to U.S. high school seniors with an unweighted grade point average of 3.5 or higher, standardized test scores in the top 15%, and unmet financial need.

This award is for U.S. high school seniors who submit an independently developed research report in an area of science as designated by Intel.

Wake Forest University Nancy S. Reynolds Scholarship

This scholarship is available for international and U.S. high school seniors who plan to attend Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Successful applicants have pursued the most challenging curriculum available to them and have achieved grade point averages and SAT scores that are often in the top 1 percent of their class, with SAT-1 scores above 1500.
